Invasion: America (SPI/1976)
Campaign Game Replay using Scenario One: "Three Pronged Invasion"

Invasion America is a wargame of a hypothetical conventional invasion of North America sometime around the end of the twentieth century.   The invading coalition is made up of three "aggressor" forces: the European Socialist Coalition (ESC), the Pan Asiatic League (PAL), and the South American Union (SAU).  Each of the aggressor forces has a separate player-turn within each game turn, thus the game can be played by more than two players.  Each game turn represents one month, and the Campaign Game lasts 60 game turns (five game years).  If the invaders capture every city on the map by the end of the 60th turn, the aggressor side wins.  If not, the US/Canada player wins.

game components

Game components:
a 35" x 42" mounted map (designer's edition),
400 unit counters (ground units represent corps),
two charts, and a 12-page rule book.

Force colors
SAU = brown
ESC = dark blue
PAL = yellow
US = green
Canada = light blue

Succeeding images will show the situation at the end of the land movement phase.  Arrows in the force colors show movement/advance/retreat paths.   Red arrows indicate battles.  Any rollover images will show the situation at the end of the combat phase or player-turn.

Game Setup
The US has deployed most of its strongest units on the east and west coasts, causing the aggressors to adopt a southern strategy against what is perceived as the "soft underbelly" of North America -- Mexico, and the southern US states in the Gulf of Mexico.

GAME TURN LINK TRACK
Notes: the invasion begins in the month of March, and a "game year" runs March through February.
November through February are weather turns, during which unit movement and combat are affected in certain areas of the map.
